DEREK DIAMOND

I grew up in the small town of Jay, located on the Gulf Coast of northwest Florida. After graduating high school in 2004, I enrolled at Pensacola State College (formerly known as Pensacola Junior College). Going into college, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, until the end of my second semester.
One day, I found a brochure for PSC's Video/Broadcasting program in the Student Government office. As I read the brochure, I found myself being drawn into it, becoming more interested as I would read it. As a result, in the fall of 2005 I officially listed Video/Broadcasting as my major. After my first TV production class, I knew this was the career I wanted to pursue.
Film and television have always been a love of my life. The process of a large group of individuals doing different jobs to create one final product is both inspiring and fascinating to me. Some of my inspirations include Clerks, the Lord of the Rings series, the Star Wars series, Zombieland, House, and The Office.
In March 2008, my aspiring career was taken to the next level; I was offered to film a wedding. Since then, I have been involved in many projects and freelance jobs, which include weddings, graduations, interviews, and many others. It was also during this time that Untitled Film Projects came into existence.
One final note, I do not own the copyright to any of the music used in these videos. The purpose of these videos are for portfolio and promotional use only and will not be used for monetary gain.
Thanks,
Derek Diamond
